How do we stand against the onslaught of atheistic philosophy?

The onslaught of atheistic philosophy (like “science falsely so called”) is not something that is going to go away. Nor is it going to lessen. For it is a natural component to the evolution and growth of man’s ungodliness. As such it is not only here to stay, but it is just going to get worse and worse for as long as this present dispensation of God’s grace remains in effect. In fact, boldfaced and even militant atheism is one of the hallmark components belonging to the continuing evolution of man’s ungodliness, as well as of his evolving foolishness. For as men increasingly ‘profess themselves to be wise’ but instead become fools, the natural end result and epitome of their sinful foolishness is the increasingly bold and insistent profession that God does not exist. And along with this, men actually become obsessed with ridding themselves and ‘their world’ of the concept of God, and of His word, and even of His people. So then the increasingly bold and militant onslaught of atheistic philosophy is not something that should surprise us at all, especially in view of how long God has had this present dispensation of His grace in effect. Instead, it is ‘par for the course’; and as I mentioned it will only get worse and worse.
Wherefore, being bombarded through the media with the evolutionary philosophies and false science of atheistic man, is something that I experience along with you. And the same is true with also being bombarded with any number of contrary and faulty and corrupt teachings from the religious world at large, and especially from the numerous forms of Christian ungodliness that there are; which include not only the various “winds of doctrine” that are produced by corrupt and faulty Bible handling and teaching, but also those that come from Christian philosophizing and rationalizing. So, between the operations of these two camps, not a day goes by that I too am not subjected to a barrage of various forms of communication that directly and purposely oppose my understanding, and thereby go about assaulting it and fighting against it. In so doing they deliberately do such things as denounce my faith, ridiculing and belittling it, and even vilifying it, as their obsessive and determined resistance to the truth of God and His word causes them to lash out against it while they work to ease their conscience by vehemently opposing the truth. And as they go about working to ease their own conscience while they desperately seek to ‘hold the truth in unrighteousness’ and as they endeavor to comfort themselves in their resistance to the truth, they also seek to undermine my confidence, put me to shame, and work to overthrow my understanding and faith. So as I said, I too experience the same onslaught as you.
But though we are subject to the onslaught (especially that of atheistic philosophy and its ‘sciences’) we do not need to be upset or shaken by it. For once again, we know all about it. As I just pointed out, we know where the onslaught is coming from and why it is taking place. Hence, we expect it. Moreover, we know that their ‘science’ (which they promote and uphold as their authority and proof) is nothing but “science falsely so called”; just as we have dealt with in a previous email. Wherefore we need not be bothered, or upset, or shaken by any of their denunciations, or belittling, or scorning, or ridiculing of our faith. Instead, we should simply acknowledge it as that which is ‘par for the ungodly course of this world’ (knowing where it is coming from and why); and in so doing we should not only patiently endure it, but we should actually count it an honour to be reproached and denounced by them, knowing that for God’s sake “we are made the filth of the world” by them as they (being the ‘haters of God’ that they are) go about carrying out their increasingly bold and vehement opposition to the truth of God and His word.
Now when it comes to particularly dealing with the claims of atheism’s ‘scientific proofs’ and the like, these too need not trouble us, just as we have seen when we previously dealt with the claims of evolution. For atheism’s ‘scientific proofs’ are not genuine or indisputable proofs at all. For as any honest scientist will admit, the ‘evidence’ is not only capable of supporting more than one theory, but it can support these other theories equally well. Wherefore, atheism’s ‘scientific proofs’ are only accepted as conclusive or indisputable ‘proofs’ by those who espouse them and who prefer to believe that God does not exist. Moreover, as we have also previously noted, atheism’s claims are not based upon ‘true science’ at all. For which reason there are numerous fully and equally accredited scientists (Christian and otherwise) who totally reject the theory of evolution (as well as other similar type theories) and they do so purely on the basis of the scientific evidence. They recognize that the supposed conclusive ‘proofs’ of atheism are not ‘true proofs’ at all, because the evidence can both easily and legitimately be explained in one or more other ways. Hence it can equally be ‘proof of some other theory of explanation, including that of ‘special creation’, to use their term. Hence, as any ‘true and honest scientist’ will admit, science never has been able to, nor will it ever be able to, conclusively prove that God does not exist. For that proof is outside the ability of ‘true science’. Wherefore, it only exists in “science falsely so called” which is why the Bible speaks of it as a source of deceitful opposition to what it says.
So then in view of what ‘true science’ admits, any time you are confronted with the claims of atheism’s ‘scientific proofs’ you can mark them down for what they are, i.e.; the illegitimate and pompous claims of a mere philosophy of man (of “haters of God” in particular) which uses “science falsely so called” to prop itself up, as well as to deceive and delude others. What’s more, you can also respond to these claims of atheism’s ‘scientific proofs’ by investigating on your own the research and findings and conclusions of other fully and equally accredited scientists, as they expose the fallacies of the theory of evolution and show that the evidence can be interpreted in an entirely differently manner and that one can come to an entirely different conclusion and conviction. There are numerous scientific web sites and publications that are put out by individual scientists and scientific organizations which disagree with the theory of evolution, recognizing that it is nothing more than a theory and that it cannot be proved, nor does it have any conclusive proof for itself. If you have never investigated the findings and teachings of these other scientists, then you ought to give them a hearing any time you are confronted with the claims of atheism’s so called ‘scientific proofs’.
