Firmly Rooted and Established in Godly Love
This is the second part of a follow-up to our
past article, Are You Being "Taught of God to Love One Another?" (Second
Quarter 2006) This article briefly amplifies upon how we become firmly
rooted and established in godly love, after God our Father has successfully
planted it like a seed within us, and it has germinated and sprouted. For
the proper background to this matter, please review the first of the
follow-up articles in the First Quarter 2008 edition of the Quarterly.
From EBM To You
- We appreciate hearing from those of you who have
contacted us to say that you are enjoying our present studies on how God
teaches us to love as He does. In view of what Paul stresses in the
opening verses of I Corinthians 13, we should realize how important it
is for us to be "taught of God to love one another," and thereby to be
walking in godly love and charity in the details of our lives. Though
these studies only briefly describe this vital aspect of our son-ship
education, we are happy to know that they are helping many of you to
appreciate this matter all the more.
- Despite the rising cost of travel these days, we
hope that you are able to attend one or more of the many fine grace
camps or conferences taking place around the country this summer and
fall. But if not, often you can still ‘attend’ the meetings
because many grace churches and organizations make audio and/or video
recordings available on their websites. So consider taking advantage of
this, if you cannot attend in person.

If you are moving and will be sending us a change of address,
please also include your old address to help ensure that we can
update our records accurately.
Our Toll-free Number
Our toll-free number is an unattended voice-mail system,
since we are only able to have our office open when one of our volunteers is
able to work. Because of this, using our toll-free number is not the best
way to place an order for any of our materials. For unlike our secure web
site, or our P.O. Box, we are not able to regularly monitor our toll-free
number, which results in delays when receiving orders. Nor does our
toll-free number automatically provide us with an easy-to-read and complete
written record of an order, as our web site does.
So to help us be more efficient we ask that from now on
all orders for any of our materials be placed through our secure web site,
or by regular mail to our P.O. Box, whenever possible. This will help our
volunteers to receive orders more readily and accurately, and thereby
process them more efficiently.
